Tutor Agreement
- I will inform the HFHG-EC coordinator as soon as possible, if I cannot teach this class. I realize that parents will expect me to tutor their child in this subject(s). I will expect parents to remain/to be responsible for their children’s education and oversee the progress for their children in this subject(s).
- I agree to answer parent’s questions about courses I offer before & during registration.
- I am aware that I may be reimbursed for my expenses relating to this class. I will submit a receipt(s) to the co-op coordinator along with a reimbursement form. I understand that I will only be reimbursed for consumable expenses. (I.e. copies, craft supplies, etc.). I will not be reimbursed for non-consumable purchases, such as books. I realize that a material fee can be charged when curriculum would need to be purchased for each student, or if items such as art supplies, which are not usually stocked for general CO-OP use, need to be purchased. I will discuss the amount with the HFHG-EC Coordinator.
- I realize that I am volunteering my time to teach other children in trade for the talents other parents have to offer an will not be paid for teaching this class.
- I will not hold HFHG-EC responsible for any personal property that I choose to bring to coop for teaching purposes (ie: if you bring your CD player and a power surge melts the cord.)
- I will inform the HFHG-EC coordinator by the registration deadline, if I cannot teach my proposed class, and will return money (if any) collected for material fees.
- I understand that my class will only be meeting on the above dates.
- I will submit a syllabus upon the request of the committee or parents.
- I will not copy any copyrighted material. For reproducible material, I may use any local copy shop and I need to submit a receipt for reimbursement.
ALL TEACHERS:
- If the class that I lead will have any religious content it will be from the perspective that Jesus is the chief cornerstone. Eph 2:19-20 says " Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone." (Emphasis added)
- It is our goal to utilize staff members whose lifestyles, choices and teaching uphold the principles in the HFHG-EC statement of faith. By offering to TEACH at HFHG-EC, you are acknowledging agreement with these statements. Note: Families and students participating in the HFHG-EC programs are not required to sign / agree with our statement of faith, but will need to understand that this is the basis from which HFHG-EC will operate and the standard by which all staff members and students will be required to uphold.
- I certify that the information given by me in this tutor agreement is accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that if I have intentionally given false information, I may be asked to discontinue participation in activities with Home For His Glory- Enrichment Co-op. I have received a copy and read the HFHG-EC statement of faith and mission statement.
